Welcome to Canadian Custom Cabinets (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, communications, and all related products and services offered by Custom Cabinet and Counter Top Inc. (“Legal Entity”), including the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of cabinetry and countertop solutions (collectively, the “Services”).

By engaging with our Services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Company Overview

Canadian Custom Cabinets is a locally owned and operated business based in Kitchener, Ontario, specializing in:

  • Custom kitchen, bathroom, and closet cabinetry

  • Countertop fabrication and installation

  • Renovation, design, and consultation services

We provide residential and commercial solutions across the Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.

2. Estimates and Quotes

  • All quotes and estimates provided by Canadian Custom Cabinets are valid for 30 days from the issue date, unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotes are based on the information and measurements provided at the time. Any modifications, design changes, or site variations may result in an updated estimate.

  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing for material changes, supplier increases, or unforeseen labour costs.

Clients will be notified in writing prior to any price adjustment.

3. Orders and Payments

  • A deposit (typically 40–50%) is required to initiate production.

  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of work or before delivery/installation, as specified in your invoice or agreement.

  • Accepted payment methods include e-transfer, cheque, or credit card (fees may apply).

Failure to make payment in accordance with agreed terms may result in delays, withholding of delivery, or legal collection proceedings.

4. Custom Design Approval

All designs are custom-made to client specifications.
Before production begins, clients will:

  • Review and approve all design drawings, finishes, and dimensions in writing.

  • Verify measurements or grant access for our team to take final measurements.

Once approved, designs enter production and cannot be altered without additional costs.

5. Materials and Product Variations

We take great care to ensure material quality and consistency; however:

  • Natural materials (wood, stone, quartz, etc.) may contain variations in colour, grain, or texture.

  • Small differences between samples and final products are considered normal and do not constitute defects.

  • The Company is not responsible for variations caused by lighting, paint colour differences, or environmental conditions in the client’s home.

6. Delivery and Installation

  • Delivery and installation dates are estimates only and depend on material availability, site readiness, and scheduling factors.

  • Clients must ensure that the installation site is ready, clean, and accessible.

  • Delays caused by construction issues, electrical/plumbing work, or other trades are not the responsibility of the Company.

  • Any return visit required due to incomplete site readiness may incur an additional service fee.

All installations are performed by trained professionals and inspected for quality assurance.

7. Warranty

We stand behind our craftsmanship.
Canadian Custom Cabinets provides a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, or modifications by others

  • Normal wear and tear, fading, or natural material variations

  • Water damage, heat exposure, or structural shifting in the home

Warranty service may involve repair, replacement, or adjustment at the Company’s discretion.

8. Returns and Cancellations

Because all cabinetry and countertops are custom-built, cancellations and returns are limited.

  • Orders canceled after design approval or production start may be subject to forfeiture of deposit and/or additional costs for materials purchased.

  • Installed or delivered custom items are non-refundable.

  • Any approved refund or adjustment will be processed in writing.

9. Site Access and Responsibility

Clients agree to provide:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the installation area

  • Adequate workspace and utilities (electricity, lighting, etc.)

  • Clear scheduling coordination with other trades

The Company is not responsible for delays, damages, or additional costs arising from unsafe or inaccessible job sites.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Canadian Custom Cabinets and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project.

  • We are not responsible for damages caused by installation performed by third parties or improper maintenance by the client.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and renderings prepared by Canadian Custom Cabinets remain the intellectual property of the Company until the project is paid in full.
Designs may not be copied, reproduced, or used by other contractors without written consent.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
